SteDaJoDa opens up a diverse field of shapes, structures, colors and styles. Sound surfaces such as mechanical repetitions are listened to, rhythms and melodies appear and disappear, interwoven overlays stand next to stubborn opposites. Time is compressed or expanded, reminiscences from different areas of our musical work are reshaped.
The high and low strings - double bass - and the percussive drumming are explored in different functions, constellations and instrumentation: duos of guitar and double bass overlaid by double bass and drums, double bass duo next to drums and guitar, from tutti to trios, duos to solo.
Rock, crunchy, hard and soft, tender and playful.

SteDaJoDa öffnet ein vielfältiges Feld von Formen, Strukturen, Farben und Stilen. Klangflächen wie mechanische Wiederholungen werden ausgehorcht, Rhythmen und Melodien erscheinen und verschwinden, verwobene Überlagerungen stehen neben hartnäckigen Gegensätzen. Die Zeit wird komprimiert oder ausgedehnt, Reminiszenzen aus verschiedenen Bereichen unseres musikalischen Schaffens werden neu geformt.
Die hohen und tiefen Saiten – Doppelbesetzung des Kontrabasses - und das perkussive Schlagzeugspiel werden in verschiedenen Funktionen, Konstellationen und Instrumentierungen ausgelotet: Duos von Gitarre und Kontrabass überlagert von Kontrabass und Schlagzeug, Kontrabassduo neben Schlagzeug und Gitarre, vom Tutti über Trios, Duos zum Solo.
Rockiges, Knackiges, Hartes wie Weiches, Zartes und Verspieltes.
